This is the 4th house we have trusted Accent Shutters with. As always they were amazing at helping us choose what suited our windows and needs. We wanted to hard wire roller blinds so we didn't have to deal with battery changes. They let us know what we needed the builder to do and what kind of wiring we needed to control all the blinds. Once we had our windows fitted and trimmed by the builder they came out to measure the windows for the shutters. We gave them about 8 weeks notice so we would have them for move in. The day after we closed on our house they came and fitted all of our shutters. We waited until we had all our furniture in place before choosing the color or our roller blinds. They brought many samples of blind fabrics so we could put them against the window to see the sheerness (sp) and shade that we wanted. All of this was done with professionalism and knowledge of their product. As always, there is no hard sell, just suggestions of what would work best for our home. I have no doubt if we have issues, they will address them in a timely manner as they have done over the years for our previous houses. This is why we would only ever use them. Not every company gives good after service after they receive their payment, Accent Shutters and Blinds stand by their products. I wouldn't hesitate in using them again in future.

In 2015, i purchased the plantation shutters from Accent Shutters. They came with a lifetime warranty. Most times lifetime warranties are not that great and very difficult to use. Not with Accent Shutters. They honor their lifetime warranty and do so with great customer service. I spoke with Adam, one of the owners, to ask for some help with a repair. He listened to my request and went far beyond my expectations. I highly recommend this company and the plantations shutters with the lifetime warranty. This company has great customer service.

Once I started shopping around, I realized risking this project on my own had all types of non-refundable issues, via ordering through Amazon, or China, or supply chain, or whatever. Decided to get the pros involved, and I am very happy with the result. Come to find out, the blinds I was considering were loud, the batteries went out often, and servicing the blinds would be very difficult. And any warranty request would require shipping the blinds for a 6-8 week turn time, if at all. Accent Shutters came to my house with a pro that is familiar with the right questions to ask, custom built the product to my spec after visiting the house, a second crew came and measured, and then a third came and put em in. Fit perfect, quiet, easy to maintain, got a resource to call for any problems, and all USA Made. A+

Long time customer, first time poster...

I first used Accent Shutter in 2010, where I had window film put on my town home. The application process was seamless, as the installers were both professional and punctual. The film was of high quality and had a significant impact on our electric bills.

We recently moved into a new home and decided to put exterior shutters on some of the windows. After seeing a set of distressed shutters at a family member's home, we inquired where they were from. Accent Shutter was the maker and our decision was made. They provided photos of 3 different options (photo attached) to fit the windows and we selected our favorite. The turnaround time from order to install was only a month (extremely quick when you consider these are custom, right down to the distressed level).

Overall I have had nothing but good experiences with AS and would highly recommend their services!

We are so happy with the fantastic work from Accent Shutter, Inc. They were thorough on their measurements, prompt on installation, and professional in every way. We closed on our new house at noon on a Friday and they were pulling up to install houseful of beautiful 5 1/2" plantation shutters at 1 pm!



They also did a terrific job with putting the solar film on all windows to prevent heat and sun damage.

Most special custom work was in our wine cellar....custom distressed sliding shutters they designed to operate beautifully on barn door hardware. That gives us a choice of shutter louvers for privacy and light control, or we can open them wide for a clear view out of the courtyard window. It was a pleasure to work with them on getting the exact distressed finish that complements perfectly with the brick floor and other finishes of the room. We are very happy and satisfied customers.

We gave them a paint sample when we placed the order so they could match the color of our wood window frames exactly. Overall an excellent experience. I purchased exterior wood shutters almost a year ago. They did a great job in matching stain color. I did have a small issue and they quickly resolved it. Last month, I noticed they were discoloring from sun exposure. The sales rep said they are under warranty and sent a crew to refinish them using an industrial protective finish that Sherwin Williams recommended. Two weeks later they returned and installed the freshly refinished shutters. They look great!

We had three companies come out to the house to measure and give estimates. While Accent Shutters was not the least expensive, their prices were competitive. What we especially liked is that they paint the shutters at their facility to exactly match the trim paint in your home using the Sherwin Williams paint color. It took seven weeks for them to be completed, but they look fabulous! Once the shutters were ready, it only took 1-1/2 hours to install 16 windows and a door. They all fit and are aligned perfectly. I couldn't be happier with the quality, professionalism, and look.
